Why this site exists
T-bills became one of Singapore’s most talked-about savings options, but the explanations are often either too technical or buried in jargon. We set out to explain, in plain English, what T-bills are, how the auction and yields work, and how to apply with cash, SRS or CPF — so you can decide for yourself whether they suit your situation.
What we are — and what we are not
We are an independent educational resource. We are not the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), the CPF Board, a bank, a broker, or a licensed financial adviser, and we are not affiliated with any of them. We do not sell T-bills, take deposits, or handle anyone’s money.
Because auction results and calendars change constantly, we deliberately do not publish a “current yield.” For live figures, we always point you to the official source.
How we keep it accurate
Our guides describe the general mechanics of Singapore Government Securities. Rules, minimums, cut-off times and processes can change, and individual banks may differ in the details. Always confirm the current specifics on the MAS website and with your bank before applying.
